Murfreesboro TN Equilibrium Medspa

Hi guys!  Thursday blog days are going to be highlighting businesses and non for profits within the area.  I am going to call it “Thankful Thursdays”!  Today I am going to introduce you to Equilibrium Medspa located at 132 St Andrews Drive  Suite E in Murfreesboro TN, across from Kohls.

On Thursday January 27, 2011 Equilibrium Medspa had their grand opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony.  I have to be honest and say I have not been a client YET but have friends who are regular RAVING FANS!!  I thought it would be interesting to go, see what they offer, then share with you guys all the ‘fountain of youth’ options that are available!  I did not anticipate what I found.

Equilibrium Medspa’s managing partner Lori Hoyt, creates an atmosphere of beauty more than just skin deep.  To start off, their ribbon cutting event did not start with what services they offered.  They chose to use their ribbon cutting event to award a local non for profit with a “Million Dollar Legacy” and to shower their new and existing clients with gifts of appreciation .  The “Million Dollar Legacy” was an opportunity for locals to nominate community non-for-profits  for the chance to win a ‘Legacy Trust’ worth more than a million dollars once it matures in 100 years, funded by Equilibrium Medspa.  The participation was great, and in the end, Greenhouse Ministries who service the under-served in Rutherford County, won by number of votes.  Wow!  What an amazing outreach! Equilibrium Medspa, what an awesome way to set the standard within the Murfreesboro Business community.

In addition to numerous other amazing stories of generosity and outreach I heard at the Ribbon Cutting, another that stood out to me was their support for local cancer patient Clinton Milliken.  He’s five years old and fighting for his life against Medulloblastoma, a brain cancer, the most common malignant central nervous system tumor within children.  When you walk into Equilibrium there is a bowl of gel bracelets for sale for $3.00 each where 100% of sales go to help Clinton.  They encourage donations and often highlight his needs through their internet savvy network marketing.   They reach even further than just financial with Clinton, he is a regular client and honorary family member to the Equilibrium team.

I know it might seem odd to find a business on “Thankful Thursday”, but I feel as a fellow business owner highlighting a business that utilizes themselves for the greater benefit of helping others should be noticed.  Equilibrium Medspa’s sign reads: ‘Mind Body Soul & Skin’, if you ask their clients they touch all areas within their description.  Whether it is botox, aesthetics, facials, skin care, seeking a consult on your skin I feel confident you will find your answer here at Equilibrium Medspa in Murfreesboro, TN.  You can enter the doors looking for solutions to your medspa necessities and leave knowing your money has not only went to filling your need, but also to Equilibrium’s extensive reach into helping their community.  Thanks guys for all you do!  I know it won’t be long before I become a regular myself   See you soon!
