Last week I shared with you the Grand Opening of the new Hair Studio and Day Spa- BombShells in Murfreesboro TN. This week I felt it only fair to share with you my return for my one hour massage with Stephanie Hawkins. I’m not trying to make you jealous, but if at the end you are, I totally understand why.
Yesterday I had a stressful morning, nearly 20 houses on agent caravan, rain on a good hair day, a few last minute hiccups before an end of the week closing, in addition to the start of the sniffles. The highlight of my morning was knowing at 1pm I was going to be able to visit Stephanie at Bombshells and have all my stresses rubbed away!
I checked in at the front desk and was escorted back to the spa area where Stephanie greeted me. The lights were dim and the ambience was soothing though I hadn’t even made it into the room yet! I followed her back to her therapeutic massage room and I nearly fell asleep listening to the waves crash against the rocks at the beach in my mind as I prepared myself for her table. She told me prior to my “preparation” that she wanted me to be completely comfortable, some people “go commando”, others are a bit more discreet. After briefly considering my options I decided “not on the first date” and hopped under the warm toasty covers on the soft comfy table…undies and all.
Stephanie then returned to the room turned on her whimsical CD of soothing melodies and started working her magic. I tend to carry my week in my shoulders, which she felt instantly. She gently and masterfully worked my muscles to release. While she might only be 5 ft 2-ish she has a strong hand when needed complimented by a soft touch to sooth. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The time flew by. Stephanie had not only succeeded in eliminating the stress I had carried all day, but she had also allowed me to escape for just a moment of me time. These days those are few and far between.
I decided part way through my massage that I would surprise my hubby with his very own massage gift certificate. I gave it to him last night and he is SO excited! He is already planning his day “out”, I’m sure it will consist of a boys lunch at Hooters followed by an hour of Massage. I’m hoping he sees a trend and “surprises” me with one on his return home….hint hint…
One thing I know for sure is that I will definitely see Stephanie Hawkins at BombShells Hair Studio and Day Spa in Murfreesboro, TN again. I’m still trying to decide what my next treat to myself will be there! In the mean time I think you should try Stephanie for yourself.
